The Cheese Country Trail is currently OPEN TO ATV'S and all other motorized vehicles.

Please stay out of any standing water and stay on trail.

Due to numerous noise complaints, the illegal use of altered muffler systems are being aggressively enforced.
Trail passes are $15 and must be purchased for motorcycles, utility vehicles, golf carts, ect.
The Lafayette Co. side trails are open to ATV's if the gates to those trails along the Tri-Country Trail are open. Lafayette county side trail to Fayette is currently OPEN to ATV's - 7/02/09
The next Tri-County Trail Commission meeting will be on 07/30/2009 at 7:30pm at the Alliant Center, Mineral Point, WI.

| The multi-use Tri County Trail is located in southern Wisconsin. Passing through wooded areas, prairies, marshes, and small towns on the path of a former railroad bed, the trail is extremely popular with ATV's, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. The trail is also open to hikers, bicyclists, cross-country skiers, and those riding horses. The winter season welcomes snowmobilers. |
