Just an FYI - Gun Deer Hunting  Season Opens 11/17/2018.  
The gun deer hunting season run thru 11/25/2018.  The Cheese Country Trail does remain open thru the hunting season.

Mathys Ace Hardware has moved from Main Street in Darlington to 121 Pelco Drive, The new location is west of the Intersection of Hwy 23 and Hwy 81.  They are across Hwy 81 from Subway and McDonalds.  They will continue to have trail passes available for the Cheese Country Trail and the DNR passes resident and non-resident.  Mathys Hardware is accessible on the designated ATV/UTV route.

Due to numerous noise complaints, the illegal use of altered muffler systems is being aggressively enforced.

Trail passes are $15 and must be purchased for motorcycles, golf carts, bicycles etc. 

Lafayette County side trail to Fayette is currently CLOSED to ATV's -  Access to the Fayette Trail is now located on Furnace Hill Rd. -  This section will only be open as conditions allow.  PLEASE STAY ON TRAIL!!! 
The Tri County Trail Commission generally meets on the 4th Thursday of the month with locations rotating between Lafayette and Green Counties. The next meeting will be on Thursday, November 29, 2018- Green County Courthouse - Monroe, WI

The multi-use Tri County Trail is located in southern Wisconsin. Passing through wooded areas, prairies, marshes, and small towns on the path of a former railroad bed, the trail is extremely popular with ATV's, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. The trail is also open to hikers, bicyclists, cross-country skiers, and those riding horses. The winter season welcomes snowmobilers.
